I was not aware that the entire documentary film called "The Secret" was available online, but now that I see it is I wanted to make it available to the readers of my blog. This movie really inspired me when I first watched it because like all human beings, I want to believe that there is a magic froufrou button that I can push to get everything I want in life. The truth is, there is no magic froufrou button. There is however a solid truth to the movie "The Secret". Rather than being selfish however, wanting to only use the power of attraction within you to attract wealth for yourself, it is more important to make your why for wanting to achieve wealth about other people.
"The Secret" goes a little overboard in my opinion on appealing to the human beings selfish nature and regardless of what financial reward one may achieve, if their goal for living life is not ultimately about making the world around them a better place, there is no happiness at the end of the journey. Quantum physics is an interesting subject. It is so interesting as a matter of fact, that it makes absolutely no sense when looking at it from a perspective of what we understand about the physical laws of the universe. With quantum physics, the physical laws of the universe simply do not apply.
On the subatomic level, the universe is a very strange place. As a matter of fact, it has been discovered that it's structure changes according to the observer. It is true that human beings attract to themselves whatever it is that they think about most. This is why the Bible tells us to be careful what we pray for. Prayer is basically deep meditation or thought directed towards God. The thoughts we have do definitely influence the life that we lead.
One important thing that I draw from the movie "The Secret" is that it is important to have gratitude for what you have in this life. It is important to live life from a perspective of abundance rather than lack. If you realize that you are already blessed, your attitude will reflect a person who is thankful for what they have. If you want to attract more into your life, you cannot look at life as though you do not have enough. There is something to the energy that we give off as human beings. We have it burned into our consciousness by sayings we learn throughout life. One of which is "Attitude is Everything" and another more common is "Mind Over Matter". At a deeper level we understand that our thoughts have a direct impact on our life.
Is this because of some magical force, or is it more about the steps we take that move us in the direction of our goals? I believe that when you look at life from a perspective of abundance, you feel better. You are more willing to make the right decisions. You are more willing to do what it takes to succeed. If you commit to performing actionable steps daily that move you in the direction of your goals, you will find exactly what you're looking for at the end of that path.
"The Secret" takes the principle of attraction a little too far my opinion because life is not a genie in a bottle that provides you with everything you want just because you have positive thoughts. Real results require action. Real success requires that you do something to achieve it. You can't just sit back on the couch and hope that the universe grants all of your wishes because you daydream all the time. This isn't the way that works!
On the other hand, if you look at life as though you already have everything that you need, and you are thankful for what you have, you will be more willing to take the right actions when it comes to determining the outcome of your life.
